A Silent Nation
A canvas blank, a silent night,
A nation's hope, a fading light.
Where is the voice, the righteous sound,
To break the chains that bind us around?
A painted smile, a hollow plea,
A masquerade of liberty.
The truth concealed, the justice lost,
A heavy toll, a grievous cost.
We yearn for change, a brighter day,
A world where truth will light the way.
But shadows linger, doubts arise,
As empty promises fill the skies.
Oh, rise and speak, let truth prevail,
Before the hope within us fails.
A nation's soul, a people's cry,
A desperate plea, a mournful sigh.
