Islamic Morality vs. Modern Deception: Who Truly Stands for Women

Do Islamic Scholars Support Rape, or Do They Fight to Protect Women?

Is our country's community of Islamic scholars (ulama) truly misogynistic, or is this a deliberate propaganda spread by a certain group with an agenda of religious hostility?

In reality, when Islamic scholars speak about women in their sermons, do they ever support acts like rape? Rather, their primary goal is to teach morality, to warn both men and women, and to help build a society where women are never subjected to any form of oppression.

They clearly state that women are not objects of pleasure. Islamic scholars explain the dignity that Islam has granted to women and strive to make people understand that Islam has strict rulings to protect a woman's honor.

Is their goal to deprive women of their rights? Or is it to safeguard their honor and dignity?

In fact, scholars always advocate for the elevation of women's status, urging every man in society to ensure women's safety and calling upon the state to take effective measures to protect women's rights. Moreover, when it comes to rape, they firmly support the stance that the rapist should receive the death penalty without exception.

The Role of Islamic Scholars in Building a Safe and Just Society for Women’s Protection

Scholars highlight the harmful consequences of unrestricted mingling between men and women and caution society about the dangers of free mixing. They emphasize the importance of creating an environment where modesty, dignity, and mutual respect prevail.

In truth, those who treat women as mere commodities are the ones spreading hostility against Islamic scholars. They do not want a genuinely women-friendly society to be established. They do not want women to be safe from the lustful desires of men. They do not want the state to ensure justice for every crime committed against women.

Islamic Scholars Speak for Women’s Protection, But Why Are They Misrepresented?

If the death penalty were strictly enforced as the sole punishment for rape, many Islamophobes would find themselves facing that punishment. Because their character is corrupt. That's why, when Islamic scholars call upon them to reform their character, they oppose them. This clearly proves that the problem does not lie with the Islamic scholars but with those individuals themselves. Therefore, instead of standing against the Islamic scholars, they should work on correcting their own character.

Therefore, we must recognize the truth, accept it, and not be misled by those who harbor hostility toward Islam. We should also protect others from falling into deception. Instead of spreading hostility against the Islamic scholars who are working to prevent moral decay in society, we should stand by them and support justice—so that women can receive their rightful dignity and security.
